“Before the group started, I was finding it hard to get out of bed and do classes, I was waking up 5 minutes before a class and would always do it in my pajamas. I wasn't living, I was only existing. When I first heard about the group, I really contemplated doing it. On the first night I really wasn't looking forward to it, I didn't know what to expect and I thought the people wouldn't want to listen to me. This was far from the truth! When the group started all the support and hearing what other people went through, motivated my to change things, so even throughout the lock down, I've been waking up at 7:30 every morning, which for me is unbelievable. I always though going to college was a bout being smart and that you needed to do well academically to do well, that's all I've been focused on since 6th year, I've realized that you need to my mentally strong to deal with things that might come your way in college, this group really benefited my mentally and even though you don't think you need social interaction, you really do. I would strongly suggest doing this go for it as you never know what it'll bring”
